Ingredients

  • 100 g cucumber
  • 1 large yellow tomato
  • 2 handfuls arugula
  • 1 handful sprouts (e.g., alfalfa)
  • 120 g Gorgonzola
  • 2 tbsp Sour cream
  • 4 beef steaks about 160 g each (e.g., ribeye)
  • Salt
  • ground pepper
  • 2 tbsp Vegetable oil
  • 4 burger buns
  • 2 tbsp freshly chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. 1.

Wash the cucumber and slice it thinly. Wash the tomato, cut off the stem end, and slice it very thinly as well. Shake or spin dry the arugula. Rinse the sprouts and drain them on kitchen paper. Smash the Gorgonzola with a fork and mix it with the sour cream.

  2. 2.

Pat the steaks dry, season with salt and pepper. In a pan, sear each side in hot oil for 1–2 minutes. Either remove at rare or continue cooking a few more minutes over gentle heat to reach pinkness. Halve the buns and spread the cheese sauce on each half. Layer cucumber and tomato slices, steak, parsley, arugula, and sprouts. Place the bun tops back on and secure with a wooden skewer.
