Spicy Vegetable Drink

A spicy vegetable drink that even the most discerning palate cannot resist. Celery in this drink has a diuretic effect.

Ingredients

  • 600 g large carrots (4 large carrots)
  • 600 g large parsnips (4 large parsnips)
  • 400 g celery stalks (0.5 stalks)
  • 1 bunch flat-leaf parsley
  • 1 Organic lemon
  • Also: ice cubes

Instructions

    Wash, peel, and cut the carrots into pieces.

    Wash, peel, and cut the parsnips into pieces.

  3. 3.

    Wash the celery, trim it, remove any strings if needed, and roughly chop.

  4. 4.

    Wash and dry shake the celery leaves and parsley. Set aside a few light, delicate celery leaflets and some parsley leaves.

    Rinse the lemon hot, rub dry, and halve. Squeeze one half, cut the other into wedges or slices. Juice the carrots and parsnips with remaining celery leaves and parsley in a juicer. Pour over ice cubes in a glass, garnish with celery and parsley leaflets.
