Spicy Tomato Thick Milk Drink

A spicy tomato thick milk drink: unlike the Bloody Mary, this fitness drink is a healthy alternative for breakfast slackers.

Ingredients

  • 0.5 Red chili pepper
  • 3 sprigs Basil
  • 275 g thick milk
  • 1 tsp Olive oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 0.5 lemon
  • 200 ml tomato juice

Instructions

    Wash and dry the half chili pepper, remove seeds, and finely chop it. Wash basil, shake off excess water, pluck leaves, set aside some for garnish, and finely slice the rest.

    Stir chili and basil with thick milk and olive oil, season with salt and pepper. Pour into two glasses and chill for about 15 minutes.

    Squeeze lemon juice. Season tomato juice with about 1 tbsp lemon juice, salt, and pepper to taste.

    Carefully pour the tomato juice over the thick milk in the glasses so that two layers form, e.g., by letting it run down a spoon back. Garnish with basil if desired and serve immediately.
