Ingredients
- 350 g small honeydew melon (0.5 small melons)
- 250 g young tender spinach leaves
- 1 cinnamon stick (about 1 cm)
- a pinch of nutmeg
- Ice cubes
Instructions
-
1.
Pit the melon with a teaspoon. Cut the melon into wedges, then cut the flesh from the rind and roughly cube it.
-
2.
Wash the spinach thoroughly in a bowl of water, changing the water several times until clear.
-
3.
Using a small sharp knife, shave thin strips from the cinnamon stick.
-
4.
Squeeze the spinach lightly; reserve one leaf and a short stem for garnish. Juice the remaining spinach with the melon in a juicer, pour into a glass with ice cubes. Sprinkle nutmeg over the top, garnish with cinnamon and the reserved spinach, and enjoy immediately.
