Ingredients
- 1 bunch fresh basil
- 2 tbsp pine nuts
- 3 Garlic cloves
- Salt
- 100 g Parmesan
- 125 ml olive oil
- pepper (ground)
- 400 g spaghetti

Tear off basil leaves. Lightly toast pine nuts in a pan. Peel and roughly chop garlic. Blend basil, pine nuts, garlic with a pinch of salt until fine. Gradually add grated parmesan and then the oil, mixing until smooth. Transfer to a bowl and season with pepper as desired.

Cook spaghetti in plenty of salted water "al dente" (slightly firm). Stir 3-4 tbsp of hot pasta water into the pesto. Drain spaghetti and mix with most of the sauce in a warmed bowl; pour remaining sauce over plated noodles at the end.
