Spaghetti Gratin

Ingredients

  • 500 g Fusilli (Bucati Corti)
  • 200 g fresh spinach leaves
  • 1 onion
  • 1 tsp oil
  • 200 ml whipping cream
  • 150 ml milk
  • 300 g blue cheese
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 0.5 tsp seasoned vegetable broth
  • sauce thickener (light)

Instructions

    Cook the pasta in plenty of salted water until al dente. Wash the spinach. Peel and dice the onion. Heat the oil in a small pot, sauté the onion, add the spinach and let it wilt.

    Drain the pasta, mix with the spinach, and transfer to a baking dish.

    Heat the milk, crumble the cheese into it and allow it to melt, stir in the cream, season the sauce with broth, salt, and pepper, and thicken with a little sauce thickener.

    Pour the sauce over the pasta and bake at 220 °C for about 10‑15 minutes until golden.
