Smoked Tofu Spread with Sauerkraut and Caraway

Ingredients

  • 1 onion
  • 100 g sauerkraut (fresh or canned)
  • 2 tbsp plant oil
  • 100 ml Vegetable broth
  • 250 g smoked tofu
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley

Instructions

    Peel and finely dice the onions. Chop the well-drained sauerkraut. Sauté the onions in hot oil until translucent. Deglaze with vegetable broth and stir in the sauerkraut. Simmer for about 10 minutes until the liquid has evaporated.

    Remove from heat and let cool. Crumble the tofu with a fork and mix it into the sauerkraut mixture. Season with salt, pepper, and caraway seeds, then sprinkle with parsley before serving.
