Smoked Salmon Sandwich Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 bundle radishes
  • 200 g Cream cheese
  • 200 g quark
  • Salt
  • Pepper (freshly ground)
  • 2 tsp grated lemon zest
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • Tabasco
  • a pinch of sugar
  • 1 oval sandwich loaf (white bread, about 500 g)
  • 1 box garden cress
  • 250 g smoked salmon (sliced)

Instructions

    Wash, trim, dry radishes and slice into rounds.

    Whisk cream cheese and quark with salt, pepper, lemon zest, lemon juice, Tabasco, and sugar; taste and adjust seasoning.

    Cut the loaf in half horizontally but do not cut all the way through!

    Trim the garden cress.

    Spread a thin layer of the cream cheese mixture on every other slice and top those slices with radish rounds, smoked salmon, and garden cress.
