Pita with Lamb

- 500 g ground beef
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 slices toast bread
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp chili peppers
- 1 pinch sumac
- semolina breadcrumbs (as needed)
- 1 tbsp white sesame seeds
- 1 tbsp black sesame seeds
- 1 Tbsp clarified butter
- 6 iceberg lettuce leaves
- 1 blue onion
- 8 cocktail tomatoes
- 4 pita breads
- Salt
- Pepper
- 300 g sour cream (for serving)

Place the ground beef in a bowl. Peel and press the garlic into it. Soak the toast bread in lukewarm water, then squeeze out excess liquid and add to the meat along with the egg, chili, and sumac. Knead well and gradually add breadcrumbs until a firm dough forms. Shape the mixture into four patties, coat them in the sesame blend, press firmly, and fry in hot clarified butter for 7‑10 minutes on each side until golden brown. Set aside to cool.

Wash the lettuce, shake dry, and cut into strips. Peel the onion and dice it finely. Wash the cocktail tomatoes, pat dry, and slice. Mix the lettuce with onions and tomato slices, then spread onto the pita pockets. Season lightly with salt and pepper, place a patty in each pocket, plate on a dish, add a dollop of sour cream, and serve.
