Ingredients
- 600 g fava beans
- 1 onion
- 2 EL Butter
- 1 EL flour
- 500 ml water
- 1 cup sour cream
- 3 EL Sugar
- 50 ml herb vinegar (amount to taste)
- 1 EL chopped bean herb
- Salt
- Pepper
- 4 slices smoked pork (150 g each)

Wash, trim and cut beans into 3 cm pieces. Peel and finely dice onion; sauté in butter. Sprinkle flour, let it brown briefly, then gradually add cold water while stirring constantly. Season the liquid with vinegar, sugar, salt, pepper, and bean herb. Add beans and simmer for about 10-15 minutes. Just before serving, fold in sour cream.
