Ingredients
- 400 g dried figs
- 200 g dried apricots
- 200 g dried fruit mix
- 200 g hazelnuts
- 150 g walnuts
- 5 eggs
- 125 g butter
- 200 g Whole Wheat Flour
- 1 tbsp cinnamon

Coarsely cube the figs, apricots and dried fruit mix. Chop the hazelnuts and walnuts. Separate the eggs and beat the egg whites very stiffly. Cream the butter, then gradually fold in the yolks, whole wheat flour and cinnamon. Fold in the fruits and nuts, then gently fold in the beaten egg whites.

Transfer the batter to a baking tin lined with parchment paper, smooth it out and bake in an oven at 175 °C (convection: 150 °C; gas: level 2) for about 60 minutes. Test with a skewer and remove the cake from the oven.
