Shrimp Avocado Cocktail

Ingredients
- 200 g peeled shrimp (ready to cook)
- 3 tbsp Lime juice
- 2 small avocados
- 1 carambola
- 75 g mayonnaise
- Tabasco
- 2 tbsp chopped cilantro leaves
- Salt
- Pepper (freshly ground)

Instructions

Rinse the shrimp under cold water, pat dry and place in a bowl. Drizzle with 1 tbsp lime juice.

Halve the avocados, remove pits and peel. Cut the flesh into roughly 1‑inch cubes, add to the shrimp, and drizzle with remaining lime juice.

Wash the carambola, slice four wedges from the middle for garnish, set aside. Dice the rest of the fruit into small cubes and add to the shrimp‑avocado mix.

Whisk mayonnaise with a few dashes of Tabasco, then fold in cilantro leaves and season with salt and pepper.

Line cocktail glasses with salad leaves, spoon the shrimp salad into each glass, and garnish with carambola wedges before serving.
