Ingredients

  • 450 g frozen puff pastry (1 package)
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 2 Tbsp condensed milk
  • 150 g butter
  • 225 g flour
  • a pinch of cinnamon
  • 80 g sugar
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 225 g apricot jam

Instructions

    Let the puff pastry sheets thaw side by side.

    Melt the butter. In a bowl mix the flour, cinnamon, sugar and vanilla sugar. Add the butter and combine into crumbs.

    Cut the puff pastry sheets into about 6×4 cm rectangles or use a dough cutter. Place on baking trays lined with parchment paper. Beat the egg yolk with condensed milk and brush the dough with it. Warm the apricot jam and spread a thin layer over the dough. Sprinkle the crumbs on top.

    Bake in a preheated oven at 200 °C (gas: level 3‑4, fan: 180 °C) for 12–15 minutes.
