Shepherd's Pie

Ingredients
- 500 g Potatoes
- Salt
- 2 carrots
- 200 g celery sticks
- 1 yellow bell pepper
- 125 g potatoes (1 potato)
- 1 onion
- 750 g mixed ground beef
- 2 tbsp sunflower oil
- 2 tbsp Tomato paste
- 300 ml meat broth
- pepper (ground)
- 100 ml hot milk
- nutmeg
- butter (for greasing)
- 100 g grated cheddar

Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F) with top and bottom heat. Peel, wash, and boil the potatoes in salted water for about 25 minutes. Wash, trim or peel, and dice the carrots and celery sticks. Wash, halve, seed, and cube the bell pepper. Peel and cube the sweet potato. Peel and finely dice the onions. Brown the ground beef in hot oil until crumbly. Add the vegetables and cook together. Stir in the tomato paste, pour in the broth, and season with salt and pepper.

Drain the potatoes, let them dry, and mash them. Stir in the hot milk and season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Grease a baking dish. Fill the dish with the ground beef mixture, spread the mashed potatoes on top, and sprinkle with cheese. Bake in the preheated oven for about 45 minutes until golden brown.
