Sheep Cheese Bagel

Shepherd cheese bagel: a filling and spicy snack that also provides protein even without meat. Perfect for breaks at work, university or school!

Ingredients

  • 0.5 bunch mint
  • 100 g firm yogurt (3.5% fat)
  • 100 g creamy sheep cheese (55% w/w)
  • 2 bagels
  • 1 tbsp black cumin

Instructions

  1. 1.

    Wash the mint, shake dry, pick off leaves and cut into fine strips.

  2. 2.

    Set aside 1 tsp of mint on a small plate; put the rest with the yogurt in a small bowl.

  3. 3.

    In another small bowl, mash the sheep cheese with a fork until smooth. Add to the yogurt and stir until creamy.

    Halve the bagels, spread the sheep cheese cream over them, sprinkle with black cumin. Garnish with the reserved mint, fold together and serve.
