Sesame Chicken

Sesame chicken with avocado pear salad brings valuable protein and heart‑healthy unsaturated fats to the table.

Ingredients

  • 10 g pine nuts (1 tbsp)
  • 150 g small avocado (1 small avocado)
  • 125 g small pears (1 small pear)
  • 0.5 lime
  • 4 tsp oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 1 Egg white
  • 250 g chicken breast fillet (2 chicken breast fillets)
  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds

Instructions

    Roast the pine nuts in a dry pan until golden brown.

    Halve the avocado, remove the pit, peel the halves and cut into thin strips.

  3. 3.

    Wash the pear, pat dry, halve it, remove the core, and slice into strips as well.

    Squeeze half a lime. Place the avocado and pear strips in a bowl, drizzle with lime juice and 2 tsp oil, season with salt and pepper, and gently mix.

    Sprinkle the roasted pine nuts over the salad.

    Separate the egg white from the yolk. Rinse and pat dry the chicken fillets, season with salt and pepper, brush with the egg white, then coat with sesame seeds (reserve the yolk for another use).

    Heat the remaining oil in a non‑stick pan. Cook the chicken over medium to high heat for about 5 minutes on each side, then serve with the salad.
