Ingredients

  • 3 onions
  • 800 g beef (steak or roast)
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 2 tbsp Rapeseed oil
  • 1200 ml beef broth
  • 600 g green beans
  • 500 g Potatoes
  • 3 stems of bean herb

  • 50 g fresh horseradish (1 piece)

Instructions

  1. 1.

Peel the onions and cut them into thin strips.

  2. 2.

Cut the beef into 3 cm cubes and season with salt and pepper.

  3. 3.

Heat oil in a pot. Add onions and sauté until translucent. Pour in broth, add the meat, and simmer on low heat for 1 ¼ hours.

  4. 4.

Meanwhile, trim, wash, and halve the green beans.

  5. 5.

Wash, peel, and roughly cube the potatoes. Wash the bean herb, shake off excess water, and remove the leaves.

  6. 6.

After 55 minutes, add the beans, potatoes, and bean herb to the pot and continue cooking.

  7. 7.

Wash parsley, shake dry, remove leaves, and finely chop. Peel horseradish and grate finely.

  8. 8.

Add parsley to the stew, season with salt and pepper, and serve horseradish separately.
