Ingredients

  • 4 green bell pepper halves
  • 2 onions
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 6 tomatoes
  • 600 g Seezungen fillet (prepped without skin)
  • Salt
  • Pepper (freshly ground)
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp paprika powder (spicy)
  • 1 pinch saffron (ground)
  • 250 ml dry white wine

Instructions

    Wash the bell peppers, halve them, clean and slice into strips.

  2. 2.

    Peel the onions and garlic; cut the onions into strips and the garlic into slices.

  3. 3.

    Blanch the tomatoes, cool, peel, quarter, deseed, and dice them.

    Rinse the fish, pat dry, cut into large pieces. Season with salt and pepper and dust with flour.

    In a hot sauté pot, briefly brown the fish in oil all around. Remove from the pot and sauté all prepared vegetables for 4-5 minutes.

    Add paprika and saffron, deglaze with wine. Add the tomatoes and simmer gently for about 10 minutes.

    Place the fish on top of the vegetables, cover, and let cook for about 5 minutes. Taste and serve.
