Ingredients

  • 30 g fresh ginger
  • 400 ml white wine
  • 200 ml Korn brandy
  • 1 tsp cardamom pods
  • 2 Cinnamon sticks
  • 4 cloves
  • 8 pieces cube sugar
  • 150 ml cognac
  • 1 apple

Instructions

    Wash, peel, and cut the ginger into pieces.

    Heat the white wine with the Korn brandy. Add the cardamom, broken cinnamon stick, cloves, and ginger; reduce heat and let steep for about 15 minutes without boiling.

    Then remove all ingredients except the cinnamon to taste.

    Wash the apple, core it, and cut into large chunks.

  5. 5.

    Place the cube sugar in a small pot, pour cognac over it, add the apples, light with a long match, and slowly melt the sugar; pour into the wine.

    Pour the mulled wine evenly into small glasses and serve.
