Ingredients

  • 500 g bread mix (for multigrain bread)
  • 250 ml water (lukewarm)
  • 1 tsp oil
  • flour (for working)
  • 5 dried tomatoes (well drained)
  • 1 bunch parsley
  • 200 g ground meat (mixed)
  • 200 g sheep cheese
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 1 egg
  • 1 yolk (for brushing)
  • tomatoes (for serving)

Instructions

    Knead the bread mix with water and oil into a smooth dough, shape it into a ball and let rise covered in a warm place for 1 hour.

    Grate the sheep cheese finely, chop the tomatoes and parsley, then mix everything with the egg and ground meat, seasoning with salt and pepper.

    Roll the dough on a floured surface into a large rectangle and cut into 5-6 squares. Cut each square diagonally to create triangles.

    Place the filling in the lower third of the wide triangle side, roll from bottom to tip, shape into horns, and place on one or two parchment‑lined baking trays. Let rise again for 30 minutes, whisk the yolk with a little water and brush the horns, then bake at 200°C for about 25-20 minutes until golden.

    Serve warm or cold on plates with tomatoes.
