Ingredients
- 500 g sauerkraut (canned)
- 1 can thick white beans
- 2 EL Butter
- 2 TL cumin (finely crushed)
- 2 EL white balsamic vinegar
- 4 EL Olive oil
- Salt
- Pepper
- 4 salad leaves
- thin green paprika strips
Instructions

Heat the butter in a pot and sauté the sauerkraut. Drain the beans, add them, and simmer on medium heat for about 5 minutes in their own liquid, stir in cumin, salt, and pepper.

Set aside the sauerkraut mixture to cool slightly. Wash and dry the salad leaves, shake off excess water, and arrange on plates.

Prepare the paprika strips and marinate the warm salad with vinegar and oil, taste again, and serve on the salad leaf garnished with paprika. Serve with fresh white bread.
