Ingredients

  • 1 baguette
  • 2 red bell pepper halves
  • 1 leek stalk
  • 3 tbsp mayonnaise
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 400 g cold roast meat
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tsp oil

Instructions

  1. 1.

Wash, trim, halve, seed, peel the white skin of the peppers and slice into wide strips.

  2. 2.

Wash, trim the leek, cut off the green tops and blanch the white part in boiling salted water for about 5 minutes. Store the remaining green in the refrigerator and let it drain on a kitchen towel.

  3. 3.

  4. 4.

Layer one half of the bread with peppers and meat, the other half with leek, mayonnaise, and more meat.

  5. 5.

Stack the halves together, press firmly, then slice into 4–5 cm thick pieces, wrap each in a napkin, and serve.
