- 800 g beef (rump)
- 2 onions
- 4 baguette rolls
- 80 ml heavy cream
- 300 g processed cheese
- 100 g shredded cheddar
- Salt
- Pepper (freshly ground)
- 4 tbsp Vegetable oil
- Tabasco

Preheat the oven to grill mode.

Slice the beef into thin strips. Peel and cut the onions into pieces or strips. Briefly toast the baguettes in the oven.

Warm the cream in a pot and melt both cheeses in it. Season with salt and pepper. Heat 1-2 tbsp oil in a pan and sauté the onions until translucent. Remove them, then add the beef to the remaining oil and cook for about 2 minutes while turning. Mix the beef and onions with the cheese‑cream sauce. Add Tabasco to taste and fill the split rolls.
