Super chocolatey with a fine salty note: The Salty Brownies from Spoonsparrow taste especially good.
Ingredients
- 160 g dark chocolate couverture
- 200 g butter
- 160 g sugar
- 2 tbsp vanilla sugar
- 3 eggs
- 160 g flour
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1 tsp fleur de sel

Preheat the oven to 180°C (356°F) with both top and bottom heat. Line a baking pan with parchment paper.

Coarsely chop the chocolate couverture with a knife. Melt the butter together with the chocolate over a hot water bath, then let it cool slightly. In a bowl mix in the sugar and vanilla sugar. Add the eggs and stir well. Combine the flour with the cocoa powder and fold into the chocolate mixture. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Sprinkle with salt and bake for 15–20 minutes until the center is still slightly moist. Remove from oven and let cool.
