Brownies with Walnuts
Chocolate lovers alert: Our Spoonsparrow Brownies with nuts are always a hit.
Ingredients
- 200 g dark chocolate (at least 70% cocoa)
- 125 g softened butter
- 150 g raw cane sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 100 g wheat flour type 1050
- 0.5 tsp Baking powder
- 150 g walnuts
- 150 ml coconut milk

Break the dark chocolate into pieces and melt 150 g over a hot water bath while stirring. Let it cool slightly. In a bowl, cream together butter and raw cane sugar; gradually add eggs, then stir in the melted chocolate. Sift flour and baking powder and fold into the chocolate mixture. Chop walnut kernels and fold them in as well.

Pour the batter into a pan, smooth the surface, and bake in a preheated oven at 200 °C (180 °C fan, gas level 3) for about 30 minutes. Remove, transfer to a cooling rack, and let cool.

For the topping, melt the remaining 50 g of chocolate in a water bath and whisk in coconut milk. Let it cool slightly, spread over the brownie batter, and chill for at least 30 minutes.

Cut the walnut brownies into pieces and enjoy.
