Ingredients

  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 1.5 cm fresh ginger
  • 1 red chili pepper
  • 6 tbsp lemon juice
  • pepper (ground)
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped mint
  • 600 g gravlax salmon (thin slices)
  • 1 cucumber
  • 1 bunch mint (for garnish)

Instructions

    Peel and finely chop the garlic and ginger. Wash the chili pepper, cut it lengthwise in half, remove seeds, strip all white membranes, and dice the flesh very finely. Mix with garlic, lemon juice, pepper, and chopped mint; toss the salmon slices in the mixture and refrigerate covered for 30 minutes.

    Wash the cucumber, cut it lengthwise in half, deseed, and slice into 6 cm long sticks.
