Salmon Cream Cheese and Avocado

Try this fresh salmon cream cheese and avocado dish with ripe avocados, smoked salmon, and creamy spread for a quick, healthy meal from Spoonsparrow.

Ingredients

  • 325 g smoked salmon
  • 150 g cream cheese
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped chives
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 tsp mild horseradish cream
  • 2 ripe avocados
  • Salt
  • freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 lemon (cut into wedges)
  • chives (for garnish)

Instructions

    Chop the salmon and place it in a bowl. Add the horseradish, cream cheese, chives, and mustard; mix well and season to taste.

    Form two spoonfuls of the mixture and place them on plates. Halve the avocados, remove the pits, peel the skins, slice the flesh into wedges, and drizzle with lemon juice.

    Add the avocado wedges to the plate, garnish with chives and lemon slices, and serve immediately.
