Salad with Beef Fillet, Spring Onions and Mango

Ingredients
- 500 g beef fillet
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 0.5 tsp five-spice mix
- Salt
- black pepper (ground)
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- Soy oil (for frying)
- 3 spring onions
- 1 ripe Mango
- 2 handfuls arugula
- 4 stems fresh coriander
- 2 tbsp Lime juice
- 2 tbsp soy oil

Wash and pat the meat dry. Mix the sugar with the five-spice powder, salt, pepper and oil, then brush the mixture onto the meat. Grill in a hot skillet with soy oil, turning, for 6‑7 minutes. Remove and let rest wrapped in foil.

Wash, trim and slice the spring onions into thin wedges. Peel the mango, remove the flesh from the pit and cut into bite‑sized pieces. Wash the arugula, spin dry and roughly chop. Rinse the coriander, shake dry and pluck the leaves. Whisk lime juice with oil, salt and pepper. Toss arugula, spring onions and coriander with the dressing and spread on plates or bowls. Arrange mango and sliced beef on top and serve immediately.
