Saffron Pasta with Cheese Sauce

Ingredients
- 500 g macaroni
- Salt
- 200 g Gorgonzola
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp flour
- 400 ml milk
- pepper (ground)
- nutmeg
- 1 pinch ground saffron
- 100 ml whipped cream (at least 30% fat content)
- parsley (for garnish)

Cook the pasta in boiling salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.

In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until translucent. Sprinkle flour, stir to form a roux, then gradually whisk in milk, cooking until thickened.

Add Gorgonzola to the sauce, stirring gently over low heat until melted and smooth. Season with salt, pepper, nutmeg, and saffron.
