Ingredients

  • 8 Roma tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • Sea salt
  • Pepper (freshly ground)
  • 5 sprigs thyme

Instructions

    Preheat the oven to 180°C fan.

    Wash the tomatoes, cut off the stem ends and halve them. Arrange them side‑by‑side with the cut sides up on a greased baking sheet.

  3. 3.

    Peel the garlic and slice it thinly. Distribute over the tomatoes, season with salt and pepper, and sprinkle thyme on top.

  4. 4.

    Drizzle the remaining olive oil over the tomatoes and roast in the oven for about 40 minutes until lightly golden brown.
