Roasted Fennel

Healthy roasted vegetable: fennel tastes great not only as tea but also from the oven! Try this quick side dish from Spoonsparrow.

Ingredients

  • 4 bulbs fennel
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 sprig rosemary
  • 1 sprig thyme
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

    Clean and quarter the fennel. Lightly coat a roasting pan with 1 tbsp olive oil and place the fennel inside.

    Wash the herbs, shake off excess water, and scatter them over the fennel. Season everything with salt and pepper, drizzle with the remaining olive oil, and roast in a preheated oven at 180 °C (fan: 160 °C; gas: level 2–3) for 25–30 minutes. Remove the fennel from the oven and serve immediately.
