Spoonsparrow shows you how to easily make roasted chestnuts at home.

Ingredients

  • 500 g chestnuts

Instructions

    Soak the chestnuts in warm water for about 30 minutes. Then pat them dry, score them crosswise with a sharp knife, and spread them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

    Bake in a preheated oven at 200 °C (180 °C fan; gas: level 3) for about 20 minutes until the shells open wide. Let cool, remove the chestnuts from their shells, and enjoy.
