Roasted Bread with Tomato-Mozzarella and Olives

Ingredients

  • 4 ripe tomatoes
  • 250 g mozzarella
  • 8 pitted green olives
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 8 ciabatta slices
  • dried oregano
  • Salt
  • ground pepper
  • baking paper
  • basil for garnish

Instructions

    Briefly blanch the tomatoes in boiling water, shock them in ice water, peel and slice. Drain the mozzarella and slice it as well. Halve the olives. Peel the garlic clove.

    Rub each ciabatta slice with the garlic clove and sprinkle with a little oregano. Layer first the mozzarella slices, then tomato slices and olives, seasoning with salt, pepper and oregano. Line a baking tray with paper. Place the prepared slices on the tray and bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C for about 10 minutes until golden.
