- 1 eggplant
- 0.5 red bell pepper
- 125 g tomato purée (ready-made)
- Salt
- Pepper
- 2 Garlic cloves
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- thyme (for garnish)
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 0.5 baguette

Wash the bell pepper, remove seeds and cut flesh into cubes. Wash the eggplant and also cut into cubes. Peel the garlic and finely chop.

Sauté the eggplant and garlic in hot oil, add the pepper pieces and fry briefly, then deglaze with tomato purée and turn off the heat. Season with salt, pepper and lemon juice.
