Ingredients
- 1400 g high-rib steak with bone (4 high-rib steaks)
- Salt
- vegetable oil (for grilling)
- 300 g baby carrots
- 20 g butter
- 1 pinch sugar
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 0.5 baguette
- 4 tbsp barbecue sauce
- black pepper (ground)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp thyme leaves

Take the steaks out of the refrigerator about 30 minutes before grilling. Then rinse, pat dry and season with salt. Grill over high heat on a greased grill until browned all around. Move to the side and finish cooking over indirect heat (with lid closed if desired) to the desired doneness (internal temperature pink at ~55°C).

Clean the carrots, leave some green parts, and place them in a grill pan without holes. Distribute butter pieces on top, season with salt and sugar, and drizzle lemon juice. Grill for 6-8 minutes.

Halve the baguette lengthwise and roast on the grill with cut sides down for 3-4 minutes as well.

Brush the steaks with barbecue sauce and sprinkle with pepper. Cut the baguettes into four pieces and drizzle with oil. Remove everything from the grill and arrange on wooden boards if desired. Sprinkle with thyme and serve.
