Rice with Fruits

Ingredients

  • 200 g rice
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 0.5 Vanilla pod
  • 1 large pear
  • 1 small can of peaches (sliced)
  • 1 lemon juice
  • 250 g strawberries
  • mint (for garnish)

Instructions

    Cook the rice in plenty of water with sugar and the vanilla pod until tender.

    Drain the peaches, reserving the juice. Cut the peach slices in half. Wash the pear, quarter it, remove the seeds, and slice into 1–1.5 cm thick rounds; drizzle with lemon juice.

    Thread the peaches and pears alternately onto skewers.

    Clean the strawberries, remove the stems, and blend them with the peach juice to make a puree.

    Drain the rice well and divide it among bowls. Spoon the strawberry‑peach puree over the rice, then serve garnished with the fruit skewers and mint leaves.
