Rice Pudding with Cinnamon

Try the classic rice pudding with cinnamon from Spoonsparrow. It is always a hit with children and adults.

Ingredients

  • 1 Vanilla bean
  • 1 l milk (3.5% fat)
  • 5 tbsp raw cane sugar
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 180 g natural whole grain rice
  • 2 tbsp cinnamon

Instructions

    Slice the vanilla bean and scrape out the seeds. Place both in a pot with the milk, add 4 tbsp raw cane sugar and salt, bring to a boil, then stir in the rice. Simmer covered over low heat for about 60 minutes.

    Remove the vanilla pod, mix the remaining sugar with cinnamon, and serve the rice pudding topped with this mixture.
