Ingredients
- 500 g orzo pasta
- Salt
- 8 large shrimp (pre‑peeled and deveined)
- 1 untreated lemon
- 2 Garlic cloves
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp freshly chopped parsley
- 75 g freshly grated cheese (e.g., Greyerzer)
- black pepper (freshly ground)
Instructions

Cook the orzo pasta in salted water until al dente. Rinse the shrimp and pat them dry. Grate the lemon zest and squeeze out the juice.

Peel and finely chop the garlic. Briefly sauté it in hot oil. Add the shrimp and cook for 1–2 minutes. Mix the drained pasta (add a splash of pasta cooking water if needed) with parsley, cheese, and lemon zest, then season with salt, lemon juice, and pepper.
