Red-White Cabbage Salad

A fresh vegetable salad featuring red and white cabbage. Try this and other recipes from Spoonsparrow!

Ingredients

  • 0.5 small white cabbage
  • 0.5 small red cabbage
  • 2 lemons
  • 4 tbsp white balsamic vinegar
  • 50 ml sunflower oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 1 tsp seasoned vegetable broth

Instructions

    Remove the outer leaves from each cabbage head, shred separately into individual bowls. Wash and juice the lemons, mix with vinegar, salt, pepper, add a splash of broth, then divide half to each salad, mixing well and kneading/pressing the salad by hand.

    Marinate the salads for about 30 minutes. Then add oil, stir, and adjust seasoning.

    Combine both salads gently together, distribute onto four bowls, and serve.
