Ingredients

  • 2 kg dark grapes
  • fluid honey (for sweetening)

    Wash the grapes, halve them and bring to a boil with 150 ml water in a pot over medium heat. Simmer for about 15 minutes while stirring, then strain through a muslin cloth stretched between two chair legs into a container below to collect the juice. Let the juice filter overnight and squeeze the fruit again the next day.

    Sweeten to taste with honey and bottle. Store cool and dark.
