- 300 ml red wine (Pinot Noir)
- 300 g gelatine sugar (3:1)
- 1 stick cinnamon

1.
Wash the grapes and gently crush them with a potato masher. Then pour the fruit and wine into a saucepan and bring to a vigorous boil over high heat.
-
2.
Reduce the temperature and simmer gently for 20-30 minutes until the fruit is soft and breaks down.
-
3.
Pour the contents of the saucepan through a coarse muslin cloth, catch the juice, and let it drain overnight.
-
4.
Rinse the screw-top jars in hot water and allow them to dry on a dish towel.
-
5.
Add the strained grape juice to a clean pot with the gelatine sugar and cinnamon. Stir frequently until boiling, then simmer for 4 minutes while bubbling; pour into the prepared jars, seal tightly, and invert for 10 minutes.
