Ingredients

  • 300 g red currants
  • 1 tsp ground anise seeds
  • 2 mint sprigs
  • 150 g sugar
  • 0.7 l Korn

Instructions

    Wash, clean, and discard any stems of the currants, then mash them with a fork.

    Transfer the currant mash to a large vessel, add the anise seeds, mint, and sugar, then pour in the Korn. Seal the vessel and let it steep for 3 weeks in a dark, cool place, stirring occasionally.

    Strain the finished liqueur through a fine sieve and filter. Pour the liqueur into decorative bottles.
