Ingredients

  • 400 g ripe plums
  • 250 g white candied sugar
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 piece untreated orange peel
  • 0.25 l vodka
  • 0.5 l Korn brandy

Instructions

    Wash the plums, pit and halve them. Fill a large belly bottle with the fruit. Add candied sugar, cinnamon stick and orange peel, then pour in vodka and Korn brandy. Seal tightly and let it mature in a dark, cool place for about 2 weeks, shaking occasionally to dissolve the sugar.

    Filter the mixture and transfer it into a nice bottle. Let the schnapps rest for at least another 2 weeks after filtering.

    Serve chilled in glasses.
