Red Berry Pudding

A dessert made with fresh berries and a sweet cherry syrup.

Ingredients

  • 300 g mixed berries (frozen)
  • 1 EL cornstarch
  • 100 ml cherry nectar
  • 2 packets vanilla sugar
  • Walnut ice cream (store‑bought or homemade)

Instructions

    Place the berries in a pot and gently thaw over low heat, stirring in the vanilla sugar carefully until it dissolves.

    Whisk the cornstarch with the cherry nectar until smooth. Pour this mixture into the fruit, stir gently to avoid crushing the berries, bring to a boil and allow to thicken.

    Taste, ladle into bowls, chill, and serve topped with a scoop of walnut ice cream and optional garnish.
