Ingredients
- 500 g sour cherries
- 100 g sugar
- 20 ml cherry liqueur
- 20 ml port wine
- mint (for garnish)

Wash, pit, and dry the cherries thoroughly. Place them in a bowl, sprinkle with sugar, and drizzle with liqueur. Cover and marinate for 2 hours. Blend the cherries with their juice, strain through a fine sieve, then stir in port wine. Pour into a shallow metal pan and freeze. Occasionally stir to prevent crystal formation.

To serve, scoop balls, garnish with mint leaves, and arrange on cookie cups.
