Ingredients
- 4 game hens (ready to cook, about 400 g each)
- Salt
- black pepper (ground)
- 2 Garlic cloves
- 300 g cherry tomatoes (halved)
- butter (for the roasting pan)
- 100 ml dry white wine

Preheat the oven to 180 °C (convection). Wash and pat the game hens dry, then season inside and out with salt and pepper. Halve the garlic cloves in the middle.

Place the hens breast‑side down in a buttered roasting pan. Drizzle with white wine, add the garlic, and roast in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes, basting occasionally with the pan juices.

During the last 15 minutes, add the cherry tomatoes. When done, remove the hens and arrange on a platter with rosemary and watercress as desired.
