Quick Cheese Dumplings

Ingredients
- 300 g stale white bread
- 200 ml lukewarm milk
- 1 onion (diced)
- 1 tbsp butter
- Gouda (150 g each, coarsely grated)
- Tilsiter (150 g each, coarsely grated)
- 3 tbsp chopped parsley
- 2 tbsp flour
- 3 eggs
- Salt
- pepper (ground)
- 100 g browned butter
Instructions

Cut the bread into small cubes, pour over milk and let rest for about 30 minutes.

Sauté the onion in hot butter. Add the onion, cheese, parsley, flour, eggs and seasonings to the bread and mix well together.

Shape 8-10 dumplings from the mixture. Place them side by side in a bowl. Cover (possibly with microwave-safe foil) and cook at 600 watts for about 6 minutes and then at 450 watts for about 5 minutes.

Pour browned butter over the dumplings. Serve with tomato salad.
