Quark Gratin with Strawberries

Try the delicious Quark gratin with strawberries from Spoonsparrow!

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 45 g honey (3 tbsp)
  • 500 g Low-fat quark
  • 175 g whole-grain semolina
  • 400 ml milk (1.5% fat)
  • a pinch of salt
  • 500 g strawberries
  • 4 sprigs Mint

Instructions

    Whisk the eggs with 2 tbsp honey, quark and semolina until smooth.

  2. 2.

    Add the remaining honey and a pinch of salt to the milk in a pot and bring to a boil. Pour the mixture into a baking dish.

    Using wet tablespoons, scoop balls from the quark mixture and place them in the milk. Cover and bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C (160 °C fan; gas: level 2–3) for about 30 minutes. Remove the cover and bake for another 5 minutes.

    Meanwhile wash, clean and quarter the strawberries. Wash the mint, shake dry and pluck the leaves.

    Arrange the gratin with strawberries on four plates and garnish with mint.
