Ingredients

  • 1 kg strawberries
  • 1 unprocessed orange
  • 4 tbsp orange liqueur
  • 250 g low‑fat quark
  • 2 tbsp liquid honey
  • milk
  • 1 Tbsp vanilla sugar
  • a pinch nutmeg
  • 0.25 L whipping cream
  • 2 tbsp pistachio nuts

Instructions

    Wash the strawberries, pat dry and set aside a few whole berries; halve the rest. Grate half of the orange zest and juice the orange. Mix the orange liqueur with the juice and zest, then drizzle over the halved strawberries. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

    Whisk the quark with a little milk until creamy, then fold in honey, vanilla sugar, and nutmeg. Beat the cream to stiff peaks and gently fold into the quark mixture. In well‑chilled dessert glasses layer alternating spoonfuls of whipped quark and strawberries; finish with a quark layer. Garnish with the reserved whole berries and sprinkle finely chopped pistachios on top.
