Quick Strawberry Sorbet

Fast strawberry sorbet made with frozen strawberries from Spoonsparrow: The fruity ice is ready in no time!

Ingredients

  • 2 lemons
  • 75 g raw cane sugar
  • 600 g frozen strawberries

Instructions

    Cut the lemons in half and squeeze out the juice. Combine 6 tablespoons of lemon juice with 250 ml water and raw cane sugar in a saucepan.

    Bring to a boil, stirring until the raw cane sugar has completely dissolved. Let the resulting syrup cool down.

    Add the frozen strawberries and the syrup to a stand mixer and blend until smooth.

    Taste the puree with the remaining lemon juice, pour it into a shallow stainless steel bowl and place it in the freezer for 15 minutes. Use an ice scoop to shape quick strawberry sorbet into balls and serve.
